It’s no secret that obesity has become a significant health concern in this country and is quickly surpassing smoking as the leading preventable cause of death. Our Cardio Kickboxing program was developed to address these concerns.
We took the best of our martial arts classes (kicking, punching and blocking) coupled with proven calisthenics, aerobics, flexibility and relaxation techniques. The result is a fun and exciting, fat-burning, muscle toning Cardio Kickboxing class unlike any other fitness class – guaranteed to make you sweat, keep you motivated, relieve your stress and send you off with a smile.
You’ll do target punching drills with partners, kicking drills on heavy bags, TRX suspension training and circuit drills with stations that include: Plyo Boxes, Kettle Bells, Hand Weights, Bosu and Fitness Balls. Once you’re sweating and worked out you’ll finish the class with a relaxing stretch and cool down.
